What is the Gennum Feedback Manager?
The Feedback Manager software minimizes the chances of acoustic feedback in Paragon® based hearing instruments. Acoustic feedback is best known as the whistling sound produced by a hearing instruments when various conditions of instability arise.
How does the Gennum Feedback Manager software work?
The Feedback Manager is a fully automatic, stand-alone software application. The application conducts a series of tests while the Paragon based hearing aid is placed in-situ (in the patient's ear canal). It analyzes the results and then automatically recommends a filter which can be programmed into the hearing aid. The end result: the chance of annoying feedback is minimized and patients are left with a more satisfying listening experience.
